Australian property data runs through two big national portals, and Domain is one of them. Domain covers every state and territory, while Allhomes is the dominant portal in Canberra and the ACT. Together they cover listings, sold prices, valuations, suburb statistics and the weekly auction results that drive the Australian market.
Happy Endpoint provides two Australian real estate APIs. Each is a separate API on RapidAPI, and the same RapidAPI key works for both.

Domain.com.au: the national market
The Domain.com.au API searches homes for sale, for rent and sold across Australia by suburb, region, postcode, map area or a pasted domain.com.au link, with price, bedroom, bathroom, car space, land size and property type filters.
For a single property it returns the automated valuation, rental estimate and yield, the full sale and rental history, attributes, comparable sales and nearby schools. Suburb routes return median sold prices, annual growth, days on market, buyer demand and census summaries, and /auction-results returns each city’s weekly clearance rate with every result.
Agent and agency routes return profiles, listings, reviews, testimonials and sales statistics such as average price and days on market, which makes Domain the source for agent comparison. It is also the only source here for commercial property and businesses for sale.
Allhomes: Canberra and the ACT
The Allhomes Australia API goes deeper in Canberra and the ACT, where Allhomes is the main property portal. Look up any address, including homes with no active listing, and get its sale and rental history, a sale and weekly rent estimate with confidence and yield, and comparable sold and leased homes.
Two data sets are specific to the ACT: the government’s unimproved land value series with cadastral details, and past sales with government transfer records. Suburb, district and street profiles add census data and median price series, and weekly auction results cover Canberra.
What you can build
Automated valuation and comps - combine sold homes and valuations from both sources to benchmark or train a valuation model, and use Allhomes land values for ACT properties.
Rental yield and investment analysis - compare rental estimates and yields by suburb, then check them against recent leases.
Auction market tracking - record weekly clearance rates by city and suburb to follow market sentiment.
Agent comparison and lead generation - rank agents by local sales, average price, days on market and reviews.
Suburb reports and relocation tools - pair median prices and growth with schools, catchment zones and census data.
Combining the sources
- Use Domain nationally and Allhomes for Canberra. For ACT properties, read both and keep the one with the fuller history.
- Match properties by address. Each portal has its own property ids. Normalise the street address, suburb, state and postcode and use them as your key.
- Keep estimates apart. Domain’s and Allhomes’ valuations are separate models. Store each with its source and keep them apart from advertised and sold prices.
- Record the week for auctions. Clearance rates are weekly figures, so store the week with every result.
Getting started
Start with /locations on either API to turn a suburb or place name into the ids the searches take. Run one search for one suburb, then add filters and pagination. Subscribe on RapidAPI from each API’s page.
